Here is the very first gig I ever did ‘properly’ (not including the gong shows). At the time I was really happy with it as I’d had a terrible day only an hour or so before going on, and then everyone was really up for it and supportive of my work. Most people were saying “You’re actually really good”, implying they thought I was going to be rubbish.
